Volleyball was her first passion; a former player, coach and responsible for coaching development at the national level with Volleyball Canada, her childhood dream of representing her country at the Olympics has guided her throughout her development. Sophie was firstly particularly interested in the optimal conditions of the hierarchical coach-athlete relationship in the performance psychology option during her graduate studies (University of Montreal). During her four years at the Canadian Olympic Committee, Sophie had the opportunity to support the Canadian teams in optimizing their well-being and performance in a context of high sport performance at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia and at 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, Brazil. She then created and developed with M. Robert Dutton the Parcours Leadership Carabins, a unique and complementary learning program focused on leadership for student athletes from the Université de Montréal.
Her childhood dream now achieved, Sophie then gave herself the challenge to support the development of well-being and performance in the business world this time where she has been evolving from then on at Connect&GO. She was able to play an important role as being the first person head of the culture and engagement in this tech company in Montreal. Her main responsibilities, through which the science of motivation is implemented daily, evolve around talent management, performance management, career and development management, organizational culture, mental health and the engagement of team members at work.
Finally, Sophie founded nimble bubble, an EdTech company that helps you master feedback in the workplace with short, personalized, and motivating daily lessons delivered right to your devices. Enhance your team's well-being, productivity, and performance.
